Where Can We Get Vitamin C?

Is this a cliche?

Hopefully not, as the rainy season comes in the country. More people opt to get a daily dose of vitamin C to prevent them from getting flu virus. I'm no exemption to that as i just get my bottle of vitamins to boosts my immune system. So, for people who can't buy vitamin tablets/capsule. Where can they possibly get their own share of this most sought after vitamins?

Here are some of your sources of vitamin C:

Vitamin C is found in many fresh vegetables and fruits, such as broccoli, green and red peppers, collard greens, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, lemon, cabbage, pineapples, strawberries, citrus fruits.

Fever and Flu

I noticed flu medicine if salable nowadays. Now wonder because the weather is so unpredictable. In fact, we were just hit by a typhoon so it was raining the past few days. While a week prior to this, the sun smiles brightly so i don't know what's really the exact weather on this month. I heard a dry spell will hit us and i think it was true due to the evidence of crack lands in some places.

Anyway, going back to flu season. I had a quick research and here's what i've got:

Influenza, commonly known as the 'flu' , is an infectious disease of birds and mammals caused by RNA viruses of the family Orthomyxoviridae, the influenza viruses. The most common symptoms are chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, headache (often severe), coughing, weakness/fatigue and general discomfort. Although it is often confused with other influenza-like illnesses, especially the common cold, influenza is a more severe disease caused by a different type of virus.[2] Influenza may produce nausea and vomiting, particularly in children,[1] but these symptoms are more common in the unrelated gastroenteritis, which is sometimes inaccurately referred to as "stomach flu" or "24-hour flu".[3] Flu can occasionally lead to pneumonia, either direct viral pneumonia or secondary bacterial pneumonia, even for persons who are usually very healthy.
In particular it is a warning sign if a child (or presumably an adult) seems to be getting better and then relapses with a high fever as this relapse may be bacterial pneumonia.[7] Another warning sign is if the person starts to have trouble breathing.

On Allergic Rhinitis

I remember mentioning in my other sites about me being hit by asthma due to allergic rhinitis. It was the most bad health problem i ever encounter due i manage to solve it the soonest. Due to clogged nose, i had a hard time breathing and at that time, i forgot to buy my medicine which made me feel so miserable. I was awake the entire night coz i can't lay down on my bed. I just drink plenty of water and then lay my head on the board.

I realized i should be more careful on getting hit by flu or runny nose. Thus, having had this allergy made me prone time four so instead of ranting over this allergy i figured i need to do such steps.

1 Avoid Dust

Oftentimes, dust triggers my allergy. I don't do the cleaning anymore coz my nose is sensitive to the dust particles. I just asked a nephew to do the cleaning for me all over my room. That includes wiping my window, organizing my magazines and cleaning the clutters all over. I hate seeing a messy room so i just need to ask someone to organize my stuff.

2. Constant Change of Pillow Covers

The bed should at least be free from allergens. Do get a bed cover that is made of pure cotton and change the pillow cover as often as possible. I realized the pillow cover triggers much especially if  use a rough part or material. A person who has allergy should use cotton materials.

3.Avoid Cold Drinks

My doctor advised me to take a escape first on drinking cold drinks,. When u have an allergy, you cough much because or the watery thing in the esophagus so i have to deal with it. At present, i just drink lukewarm water.

3. Avoid Chicken and Sweets

Watch out your diet folks. I never as choosy when it comes to food but now i have to get rid of sweets as it triggers an attacke. Im not sure what's with the cholocolates but my doctor advised me not to eat first sweets.

Health Matters

..this time and i certainly want to work harder since i have multiple sites to maintain. I'm no expert in health but some personal circumstances makes me want to open up a specific niche for health improvement. I don't claim to have an expert opinion instead i want this to become an avenue for all posts concerning health matters.

I hope you take time to read and re-evaluate..Do leave me some message if you feel you need one..
