Heart Attacks and Heart Water

PS:

I just stumbled this informative post and i decided to just share it here..

A very good article which takes two minutes to read. Heart Attacks And Drinking Warm Water

This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about Heart Attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

Common Symptoms Of Heart Attack...
A serious note about heart attacks - You! should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting . Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive..

A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this post shares it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this & Send to a friend. It could save a life... So, please be a true friend and share this article to all your friends you care about..

Colds and Flu Matters

I mentioned a few times about me having an allergy and truly there are times that it's annoying specially when i am in the middle of a nice sleep and all of a sudden i have to sneeze repetitively and deal with runny nose. These common traits are my buddies when i still ma not taking my daily dose of vitamins and gladly when i started taking this immune system boosters then it just changed everything.

Just there are times that I'm thinking where this flu virus came from and so i had my share of research so this is what i've got:

------------------------------------

What is flu?

Influenza, commonly shortened to "flu," is an extremely contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza A or B viruses. Flu appears most frequently in winter and early spring. The flu virus attacks the body by spreading through the upper and/or lower respiratory tract.

What's the difference between a cold and flu?

The common cold and flu are both contagious viral infections of the respiratory tract. Although the symptoms can be similar, flu is much worse. A cold may drag you down a bit, but the flu can make you shudder at the very thought of getting out of bed.
Congestion, sore throat, and sneezing are common with colds. Both cold and flu bring coughing, headache, and chest discomfort. With the flu, though, you are likely to run a high fever for several days and have headache, myalgia, fatigue, and weakness. Usually, complications from colds are relatively minor, but a severe case of flu can lead to a life-threatening illness such as pneumonia.
More than 100 types of cold viruses are known, and new strains of flu evolve every few years. Since both diseases are viral, antibiotics cannot conquer cold or flu. Remember: Antibiotics only treat bacterial infections.

Good Morning

Good morning folks..

I am in my best mood as i got plenty of sleep. As you all knew i was deprived of sleep for few days due to some activities we are currently spearheading but thank God things are over now, so i take advantage of getting the right sleep ;last night and had a good rest.

I could say nothing beats the idea of getting the right rest. A human being needs the right sleep and proper nutrition for him/her to do all his tasks in a day. A call center agent for example works on a night shift and that he is deprived to rest at night like a typical human do so the outcome, he has hard time resting in a day course. Yes, because our body adopt to the usual body routine and changing it may lead you to any illness in the future.

All im saying folks, we're no robots so take time to rest, sleep and have fun.

Secret to Longer Life

Scientists said they had found a brain region that controls physical ageing, opening the possibility of one day being able to manipulate it to effect how people grow old.

The research, published in the journal Nature, implicates the hypothalamus -- a brain region that regulates growth, reproduction and metabolism, in the gradual and coordinated bodily deterioration we call ageing.

Though the brain has long been suspected of orchestrating the process, this is the first evidence to that effect.

The team said they could speed up or slow down ageing in mice by activating or inhibiting the brain signalling molecule NF-kB in the hypothalamus, which in turn affects levels of a hormone called GnRH that plays a role in the generation of neurons -- the data processing cells of the brain.

By stimulating NF-kB, they caused a decline in GnRH which led to impaired neurogenesis and ageing symptoms like muscle weakening, skin atrophy, bone loss and memory impairment.
NF-kB is generally responsible for regulating the body's response to inflammation, the New York-based team wrote.

The researchers could also slow ageing in mice by giving them the GnRH hormone.More Here

Know Your Doctor's Specialization

Honestly, i don't have a single idea about doctor's specialization. Probably because i am more focus in a medical doctor on its general view. I mean when i say "doctor" - its a profession intended to treat the sick people and regardless if they;re for animals or man, i just knew they belong to the same white label.

Thus, while im having sense on the medical aspect, it made me research for the basic medical specialization and here's what i've got:

---------------------

Pediatrician - children
Gerentologist - elderly

Anesthesiologist - Anesthesia
Surgeon - Surgery
Cardiologist - heart
Nephrologist - Kidney
Hepatologist - Liver
Pulmonologist - Lungs
Endocrinologist - Glands
Dermatologist - Skin
Opthamologist - Eyes
Otolaryngologist - Ears, Nose and Throat

Gynecologist - female parts
Gasteroenterologist - Stomach and intestines
Proctologist - Rectum and anus
Urologist - Structures for urination under kidney
Rheumatologist - Joints
Neurologist - Nervous system
------------------------------

I think they are the basic specialization that we need to know. So next time, you pay visit to your clinic, just pay attention to the label after their name. It says it all.
